How it works
1. Clean Out Your Closet
Start by pulling out all the clothing items you no longer wear or need. Don’t forget to check your boot!
Ensure that the clothes you intend to sell are clean, free of stains, and in excellent condition.
Buyers appreciate well-maintained items.
Don't forget to include shoes and bags in your decluttering process, they can sell well!
2. Book a Rack
Go to the Rack It Club website and navigate to the "Book a Rack" section.
Choose a date and time that works for you to bring in your items. Book your rack spot in advance to secure your spot.
Complete the booking process by paying the booking fee. Booking fees may vary based on availability and location.
3. Create Barcodes and Price Your Products to Sell
Download the Zellr app from your app store or log in on your desktop and sign in with the account details emailed to you from Zellr.
Follow the prompts to enter details such as brand, size, and description.
Price your items competitively but reasonably.
Pro Tip: Research similar products to get an idea of the market value.
Zellr will generate unique barcodes for each item. Print these barcodes from your desktop and attach them to your items however you like! Treat this as your own little market.
4. Bring Your Items to Rack It Club
On your selected date, visit the Rack It Club location you booked and check-in with the staff. They will guide you through the process.
Arrange your clothing items neatly in your Rack It Club-provided rack, ensuring they are well-presented and easy for shoppers to browse.
Rack It Club staff will take care of the rest, including hangers. Just make sure your items have barcodes attached when you come into store
5. Start Making Money
Promote Your Rack by encouraging friends and family to visit the store and spread the word through your social networks.
Use Zellr to track your sales in real-time and top up your rack if needed!
At the end of the selling period, visit the store to collect the items that didn’t sell and keep an eye on your account for your money to roll in.
Rack It Club pays all earnings within 7 business days of your rack period ending.
It’s as simple as that! Now all you need to do is enjoy the extra cash and the satisfaction of decluttering while contributing to sustainable fashion practices. Happy selling!

You create barcodes directly in Zellr, our one stop shop for all Rack It Club tech. Click the link below to get instructions on how to use Zellr.
Reminder: Creating proper descriptions of your items Is important. We recommend using the Brand, Colour, Size format. This way, if tags accidentally get switched, we know which styles each tag should go to. Please also include your rack number to all barcodes.
Once you have created your barcodes in Zellr, you can print directly from Zellr, the app does not allow you to print. You must do this prior to setting up your rack. We also recommend printing these on thick paper or gluing them to something thick, so they don’t rip. Most people use string or safety pin to attach labels to their garments. Leave your hangers at home, we’ve got you sorted. If your item doesn’t have a barcode, we can’t sell it, be mindful of this.

We recommend 12 days to see full sales potential. Minimum booking is 6 days.

In season clothing is going to sell best though your items can be from any labels you like to wear.
In summer, focus on selling seasonal pieces, and in winter, prioritize larger knits and coats. We recommend that all items be clean and in good condition. While your pieces don’t need to follow the latest trends, being in style can definitely help them sell more easily
Please note that we accept only women's or unisex clothing. We also reserve the right to remove any items that we determine are not suitable for sale. -
Though we aren’t counting the items on your rack, we recommend 45 hanging items and 3 pairs of shoes or handbags.
You want to leave enough space for people to browse your rack. If it’s overcrowded some people may not want to shop your rack. -
Our moto is ‘price to sell’, as that’s the name of the game isn’t it? Just be mindful we take 15% of all sales.
A good way to look at it is, what would you pay for that item second hand? This is usually a 3rd of the price you paid. -
You can set your rack up 30 minutes after opening on the first day of your rack rental. We will provide the coat hangers and any security tags you may need.
Please ensure you arrive 1 hour before closing on the last day of your rack rental.
If you cannot make it on your last day of rental to pick up your items, a $15 pack down fee will be put on your account. -
This may be because your pricing is too high. We can mark down your rack and run a % off to get more people to shop your rack, just send us an email and we can action this for you.
Selling in a market environment can be unpredictable. Sales cant be guaranteed and will vary from rack to rack.
